Example: Mogensen glass recycling plant layout
In the illustration above, the client Viridor in the UK asked that Mogensen work with an existing building and design a 3-mix plant that would recover CSP or KSP to levels of < 25 PPM, all the while maximizing throughput of 30 tph. The glass needed also to be dried, screeened and separated into usable fractions, while the organics were removed.
Mogensen, as part of the Allgaier-Group, has vast experience in the screeening of glass and organic removal. Our sister division, Allgaier Process, is an expert in Drying Glass and other products with over 75 years of experience.
In the case of this one Glass Recycling facility, Mogensen delivered a turn-key solution to a difficult problem and delivered color purity of 99.9% and KSP levels of < 10 grams/ton.
